After two inspiring years, our Nordplus Junior project Our Baltic Sea is coming to an end. Bringing together upper secondary schools from across the Baltic Sea region, the project has strengthened intercultural cooperation and deepened students’ understanding of one of Europe’s most unique and vulnerable seas.
Throughout the project, students and teachers collaborated through international meetings, online activities, and interdisciplinary study modules. Together, they explored the Baltic Sea’s environment, culture, history, and future challenges, while raising awareness of pressing issues such as pollution and climate change.
Most importantly, Our Baltic Sea has empowered young people to think critically, act responsibly, and see themselves as active contributors to a more sustainable future.
The partnerships, ideas, and shared experiences created during the project will continue to inspire cooperation in the Baltic Sea region long after the project end.
